Milsted Langdon opens its doors to University of Bristol students
One of the South West's leading firms of accountants Milsted Langdon is offering high -achieving students at the University of Bristol the chance to gain experience in the profession.
Working in partnership with the top university, the firm is offering students a one year placement at its offices in Bristol, Taunton and Yeovil to assist them with their aspiration of becoming accountants.
The placement year will allow students to not only see their academic field engaged in a practical manner, but also give them new perspectives on their career path.
The opportunity, offered to Accounting and Finance students, will provide successful applicants with training and the chance to begin their professional development giving them an insight into an organisation which regularly recruits graduates.
Milsted Langdon's Partner Sarah Jenkins, a former graduate of Bristol University herself, is behind the placement programme, which is due to start in September.
She said: "At Milsted Langdon we have a long history of helping students and graduates take their first steps on to the career ladder and we are very proud of our long track record of training young people.
"Those joining us will gain a unique insight into the working practices of a dynamic, multi-disciplined firm such as Milsted Langdon, which will prove invaluable experience for them in their future careers."
